VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We are always looking for helping hands. Whether you are interested in one of the opportunities below or have something else in mind, please let us know.
Ride Leader or Co-ride Leader
Plan route with help from other leaders; make sure the right amount of bikes, helmets, and lights are ready to go for the scheduled ride.
Get all paperwork and releases signed by participants.
Take riders through ABC Quick Check and any other safety information pertinent to the particular ride.
Lead ride from the front.
Cycling Without Age Escort
Help Cycling Without Age pilot collect paperwork from participants.
Assist participants in getting into the trishaw and help to fit their seat belts and helmets.
Ride along in front or behind the trishaw, either on their own bicycle or on a bike borrowed from the We Ride Bikes’ fleet.
Cycling Without Age Trishaw Pilot
Complete trishaw pilot training.
Pedal the Cycling Without Age trishaw with up to two adult passengers or one adult and one child (the trishaw is equipped with electric-assist to help with the load).
Fundraising
Help to plan and work fundraising projects and events.
Bike Maintenance and Repair
Help to maintain the fleet and make repairs when necessary.
Planning and working on events
Help to plan and put on events such as group rides.
