OUR TEAM

Celi Taggart

Celi founded We Ride Bikes with the desire to share her loves of all things bicycle, making connections with people, and the outdoors. Originally from northern Indiana she met her husband, Don, while each earning their bachelor degrees from Purdue.  Together with their four children they have made Shelbyville their home for the past twenty years. One of her lifelong goals is to be an extravagant lover of God and an extravagant lover of people. Celi is always looking for a chance to get out on a bike and share the experience with others.  Perhaps a bit bike obsessed she currently holds the unofficial record for the longest bike train in Shelby County (cruiser + trail-a-bike + two seater bike trailer).

Don Taggart

Don has been working in the IT industry for over twenty years.  In 2000 he, together with a few friends, formed E-gineering llc., an IT consulting firm focused on excellence, integrity, and people. When he is not helping friends, taking care of logistics at work, spending time with his family, or using his technical skills at church he may be found participating (or lost) in an adventure race. Don’s hope is to impact the lives of the ones around him through right action and the ones to come after him with a good example of what that looks like.

 Lydia Downey

After graduating from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree Lydia spent several years in social work.  She has continued serving others by not only working on her church tech team and homeschooling her two boys, but also by earning her associate degree in radiation therapy. Currently she is working as a board-certified medical dosimetrist.  She and her husband Eric value an active, healthy lifestyle and can often be found outside with their sons engaging in one activity or another.  Lydia values relationships, making everyone feel important and included, and any opportunity to use a Top Gun quote.

Joe Dile

Joe is a life long resident of Shelbyville, Indiana. He met his wife, Carrie, during their junior year of high school and the two have been together ever since. They have a beautiful daughter named Grace. Joe has worked for a local rubber manufacturing company for the past 25 years and has held several different positions throughout. Outside of work, Joe enjoys serving within his church's tech team and providing premarital counseling for newly engaged couples alongside his wife. When he isn't serving others, he can be found out in the garage working on, building, and fixing just about anything; on the boat with a fishing pole in his hands; or behind bars (bike bars, that is). Joe values being open with those he comes into contact with, a good sense of humor, and ensuring that everybody feels like part of the team.

Craig Olson

Craig and his wife Taylor moved to Shelbyville in 2013 after spending several years working in camping ministry in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. You can regularly find him in his wood-shop building furniture or out and about with his camera. Craig’s desire is to see Shelbyville become more than a place people live, but a place people are proud to call home.
